Striving Grit Reading!

Hi, today I am going to be showing my reading task for this week, based on grit and perseverance. Our goal for this week was to use knowledge from text to combine with new ideas (own and others) to come up with new thinking. I gathered my information by reading a fact-filled text called, ¨Born To Run¨. I hope you enjoy this post and learn something!

What is an example of you showing grit and perseverance?

  1. Hi Gus, thanks for blogging your reading task. Did you enjoy reading this article? I thought it was very informative and I learnt a lot about Arthur Lydiard training technique. If you look him up on line, there are diagrams that are made of his running and training techniques to teach others how to become long distance runners...how cool! I have had to show perseverance and grit many times throughout my life. One of them was when I was training for a half marathon. Another was when I first move to Japan and I wanted to leave and come back home but I kept going and ended up staying three years because I loved it so much. How long do some of your comics take?
